E3 Special – Sega Trailer Park

Sega have opened their video vaults prior to E3 to bring us a load of new videos. Included in this are upcoming Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit and Jet Set Radio both of which will be available on XBLA and PSN as well as PC digital download.

Catchy named Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit is a side-scrolling platformer that looks pretty bonkers. You play a devil rabbit named Ash, who is also the prince of hell. Your arch-enemy, Fat Rabbit, has posted your secret sex pictures all over the Hellternet and that makes you pretty pissed off, setting you on a mission of revenge. Armed with your drill (plus other weapons and plenty of customization!) you explore the huge and varied world of Hell Yeah! Knocking off baddies and monsters along the way.

The game certainly looks bonkers and you can watch the official Sega trailer here.

Also on the list is the updated HD version of the Dreamcast classic Jet Set Radio. The cell-shaded masterpiece of in-line skating and graffiti-painting rebellion looks better than ever and brings this classic to a whole new generation. The music listing for this updated version has been the hot topic since its unveiling and now we can reveal what it will be. Whereas before the game had separate soundtracks for the Japanese, US and European releases, this updated version will feature all of the tracks from all of the regions.

Those who played the original will no doubt be wanting to relive the experience and those new to the series will be in for a treat. Here is the trailer to whet your whistle.

Both games are due for release later in the year and both will be fully reviewed here.
