Bungie Still Jumping?

Rumours persist that a split between Microsoft and Bungie is imminent. Apparently some bloke who is mates of this guy who once knew a geezer that had a cuppa with some man from Bungie said, “Bungie are bored of making Halo games!” All together now, ahhh. It must be such a bore to produce the biggest selling game of all time, eh? However, some are regarding this tit-bit of info as “proof.”that Bungie have indeed been allowed to leave MS.

Let’s look at this a little deeper! For one, Microsoft own Bungie. That’s that! Would your favourite football team allow your best player to go and play for you rivals for free? I think not.

Two, Bungie are bored of doing Halo games? I thought Halo 3 was the last game in the series? Or has the rumour that I started yesterday about Halo 4 made the gaming gods sit up and go, “Halo 4? Why the hell didn’t we think of that?” Either way I can’t see that Bungie being bored of making Halo is a good enough excuse for Microsoft to say, “You know what why don’t you take some time out and go and program some new games for the PS3, that will blow the cobwebs away. Then if you like you can come back and we will go for a drink.” It just isn’t going to happen, is it?

And finally, it better not happen because for more of a valid reason than either of the other two, I said yesterday that the rumour was a load of nonsense. Don’t make me out to not know what I am talking about, please Microsoft!
