Get Your Skate On

Seriously is there a better website out there for gaming puns? News reaches us today that the third instalment of EA’s excellent Skate series is coming to Europe on May 14th. So all you skaters can get your hands on it and kick-flip yourselves into oblivion without the broken bones or the need to have you trousers hanging under your arse.

God, sometimes we realise how old we are at G4A! Anyway Skate 3 will feature a Skate School mode to teach beginners the basics of skateboarding and an entire new city called Port Carverton. The new city promises loads of runs and skate parks.

Seeing how good the last two games have been this could be the best boarding game yet. We, as always, will keep you posted.

Come And Have A Go If You Think Your Hard Enough!

After THQ announced that their UFC series was getting an update, EA have released more details of their very own  Mixed Martial Arts brawler. Titled EA Sports MMA (Catchy title, we would have called it EmmA.) The game features the MMA, a mixed martial art league in direct competition with the UFC. EA Sports president Peter Moore claimed “Fans have been begging EA Sports to get into the cage, and EA SPORTS MMA will put them in control of the sport’s unique combat experience” Have they Peter? Have they really? It remains to be seen whether MMA can beat UFC into submission but it is going to be an interesting fight. Anyway it is looking pretty swish and continuing with our gaming video love-in we have a trailer for you – we spoil you we really do.
