Sonic Drags His Knuckles!

News has been a little thin on the ground of late! We at G4A try to avoid rumours that we can’t substantiate, not because of some journalistic integrity but more because we are generally too drunk,  busy playing games or generally lazy to chase them up.

Back in February we were one of the first sites to run the news that Sega were bringing back Sonic in a new 2D adventure, we even ran a video which we are still not entirely sure we were allowed to but it is okay, we don’t think anybody saw it. Anyway, Sega have today announced that Sonic The Hedgehog 4: Episode I will be delayed until the latter part of this year.

Citing its dedication to quality Sega said that the delay, “Will allow the Development Team to focus on ensuring overall high-quality throughout the game by continuing to tune, balance, and maintain the kind of polish that an important title like this demands, and ultimately providing fans with an unrivalled classic Sonic feel.”

SEGA  also added the slightly better news that Sonic The Hedgehog 4: Episode I will be coming to the iPhone and iPod Touch as well as XBLA, PSN and WiiWare.

Here is the official trailer:

Lower those pants and Let’s Rap

News has come in that the upcoming UK release of Def Jam Rap Star is going to feature exclusive artists. Developed by 4mm and published by Konami, the UK version of the game will feature our very own Dizzee Rascal and his hit single “Fix Up, Look Sharp”and Tinie Tempah’s massive debut No. 1 hit, “Pass Out”. Other European countries will also be getting exclusive tracks from their own artists.

Whether the Sing Star culture can translate to the Hip Hop culture remains to be seen but Def Jam Rap Star comes with an impressive 40 tracks out of the box and you can bet your ‘ass’ there will be more to DL for ‘sho!’ You will also be able to upload vids of you ‘spitting lyrics like a badman’ using your consoles camera to the Def Jam community. It all sounds like the ‘shizzle’! (I promise not to ever do that again, well maybe until the review!)
