E3 2013: Ubisoft

Ubisoft had a storming show, showing off some great titles for the current consoles (Splinter Cell Blacklist looking particularly good) yet it was their Next Gen Line-up that really shone.
The Crew – This innovative racer looks to be really setting the bar in the Next Gen stakes. When we’ve talked about open world before in driving games we have meant maybe a city. The Crew gives you the entire US to play with. Its ambitious and with consistent multi-player it certainly looks the part. Here is a walkthrough showing off some of the games many features.

The Division – Another one that has really tweaked our interest is The Division. Coming from the mind of Tom Clancy (who else?) this looks like Rainbow Six on acid. Visually stunning and with a persistent online world this is another sure-fire hit!

Watchdogs – Of course we are all well aware on Watchdogs now. The game where you can affect all the digital world around you by hacking systems with your mobile phone. The premise is brilliant and if it plays as well as this video suggests then Ubisoft are set for another huge Next-gen hit.

All-in-all Ubisoft were one of the big successes of E3 showing off an ever-increasingly impressive portfolio of Next-gen titles (as well as current-gen). The only downside is we have to wait at least 6 months to get our grubby little hands on them.
