Game 4 Anything: A brief history!

Hi, I’m Drew editor of Game4anything.

I have been a keen gamer for as long as there have been video games starting way back when my dad bought me a Binatone entertainment system (Yes I really am that old!). This was followed by the incredibly advanced Atari 2600 and it snowballed from there. I own or have owned more-or-less every games machine you can think of since then.

In terms of writing, I have written for games websites and magazines over the years including Digitiser, Game Central and Music4games to name but a few.

With the onset of marriage I decided that the best way to keep my wife from suffering my inane rants about the pros or cons of the games industry was to splurt it all out to you guys.

So Game4Anything was born, a blog about all things games. Since then it has grown and we now have a team of five dedicated reviewers, Myself, Moonhead, Eddie, Mr Niggles and Liam and between us we will try to chip away at the bollocks that surround the industry and give it to you straight!

December 2010 saw the launch of Game4anything 2.0 a fully updated and reworked version of the site with new features and graphics. Of course it also features the same quality reviews and opinions as always.

We hope you like the new site and come back to see us many times!

It is a pleasure for us to have a link to such a ggod retro site like Clive. Both myself and Drew have been into gaming so long that it would be impossible for us not to be into retro stuff. Myself I am a C64 man and Drew a Speccy fan. keep up the good work at Clive

  7. Hi, Drew. Thanks for introducing me to this. Let’s see how things take shape in future…

Thanks for the link trade Drew. Best of luck with the new design! It looks great. You should do Top 10 Lists etc. Lists will get you more hits than any single review.

I don’t know if you have had trouble with Globat lately… they have been causing me all sorts of issues. I might have to switch. But this wordpress stuff makes everything a million times easier.

PS — Brief is spelled incorrectly in the main menu.
